Quick Update and Thanks
Hey there everybody! It's been a while, and for that I apologize. I'd meant to make a longer journal explaining my current relationship with DA and why I've, at least for the moment, discontinued my monthly newsletter, polls, and stream status updates. I do still intend to make that journal, but that's not what this is - for now, I just wanted to give a quick shout-out of thanks to all of the people who wished me a happy birthday, and to say thanks to the anonymous person who re-upped my core subscription! With things about Eclipse still up in the air I wasn't sure if I was going to renew, but since it doesn't seem to be as close to being

Hey everybody! Sorry I've been a little quiet over here.
I've got a bit of catching up to do with my newsletter and showing some of the stuff I've been working on.
I've been pretty focused on streaming recently, but I've also set up a little something so that people can keep up to date with me more easily. I started a Discord server, which everyone is welcome to join!

Frustrations with Eclipse
So, this might be a little different from my usual journal entries. I'm sure by now most of you have seen a million complaints about Eclipse, and at this point I'm not really here to just add more fuel to the fire. I wanted to make a journal about this to express where I'm at in my relationship with deviantart. It's been my primary platform for posting my art for 10 years on this account and another five or so on a previous account that is no longer active.
I could go on and on about how it feels like the site is dying and how engagement has dropped so drastically, but the truth is that I don't think that alone would stop me from using DA
